How was he able to do this? By working with such legends of Muay Thai as Pud Pad Noi, Thom Harrinck and Gerard Fino which earned him the status of Canadian President of Muay Thai. In Brazilian jiu-Jitsu, he worked with other legends such as Royce Gracie, Rorion Gracie, Rickson Gracie and Renzo Gracie, not to mention the Machado cousins of the Gracie family. He even worked with Professor Dan Inosanto, who is part founder of the Bruce Lee fighting system, Jeet Kune Do.

Professor Nigel Scantlebury is a strong part of opening doors for Canadian participants in any of the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), as he himself is the first to ever participate in these events, even when there were a lot of governmental laws against extreme fighting. Professor Nigel Scantlebury defied these laws to open doors for other up and coming hopefuls and has trained many of them. His vision was to change the world of Martial arts in Canada.

Being such a visionary, he knew that the world of Mixed Martial Arts would eventually turn to the most effective forms of martial arts, those being Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and it did happen. Every participant in these forums of extreme fighting now incorporate these two disciplines of Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which extreme fighting forums now refer to as Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) but was conceived by Professor Nigel Scantlebury as ThaiJuJitsu.

Thanks to RICKSON GRACIE for giving me the idea for the name ThaiJuJitsu instead of the original name of Thaijupakun. He told me that it would be better if I called it ThaiJuJitsu. So a special respect to Rickson Gracie, as his fight with Yuki was used as apart of my logo. Thank you Sensei RICKSON GRACIE.

Professor Nigel Scantlebury extends his gratitude, honor and respect to the GRACIE FAMILY for their knowledge of BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU and their relentless contribution to the martial arts world. No other martial artist has done what the GRACIE FAMILY did with their contribution to the martial arts world, since the late great BRUCE LEE. Special thanks to the GRACIE FAMILY.

Special thanks also to my (MUAY THAI) THAIBOXING instructors, PUD PAD NOI, THOM HARINCK and Sensei GERARD FINOT. Because of you all, Thaijujitsu exists. May GOD bless you all.
